POLICE Scotland have charged a 16-year-old boy for the recent spate of vandalism in Keith and Newmill.
The damage includes vandalism to the Keith Town Railway Station, which happened between May 25 and May 27.
The cost of the damage was approximately £300 pounds.
Volunteers of the Keith to Dufftown Railway station called the vandalism “extremely disappointing.”
The teenager will be reported to the Youth Justice Management Unit and has also been charged with two incidents in Newmill where vehicles were reported damaged.
The 16-year-old has also been charged with a fire that happened at the Keith Town Railway Station on June 10 at 7:45pm, with a small amount of damage.
PC Samantha-Lea Robertson, who led enquiries, said: “I would like to thank all those who provided information in connection with our investigations.”
