THE campaign for a modern health care facility in Keith gathered support at the two day agricultural show in the town.
Leon Stemlach, chairman of the Keith Health Centre Patient Participation Group (PPG), said: "I'm really pleased that people are strongly behind the campaign to get a modern, integrated health care facility for Keith. It's certainly long overdue."
Later this month Moray MP Douglas Ross and MSP Richard Lochhead will discuss the issue with the Keith PPG.
For years staff have struggled in the out-of-date buildings on Turner Street.
Mr Stemlach and other volunteers were gathering signatures for their petition at Keith Country Show.
The Banffshire Herald is also supporting the campaign.
