Balvenie Castle and Spynie Palace will open their doors on Monday for the new season.
The two sites are among 300 attractions run by Historic Environment Scotland.
Susan Loch from Historic Environment Scotland said: "For 2018 we have a bigger selection of days out than ever before.
"We’re inviting everyone to come and explore our venues, from the much-loved castles and abbeys, to the lesser-known prehistoric forts and atmospheric ruins.
"Across the country our calendar is packed with events which bring history to life, with plenty of battles, trails and stories from characters who have shaped our past."
Elgin Cathedral will be one of the venues taking part in the Easter Eggsplorer trail from next Friday, March 30, to Monday, April 2.
