The four page newspaper from Saturday, August 15, 1863 cost 1d.

It is among a number of items in a silent auction at the church on Wednesday, August 30 from 9am to 7.30pm.
Church member Patrick Scott said: "It will be interesting to see how much the paper fetches.
"We often get Huntly curios appearing at our auctions, which we hold twice a year."
tA total of 120 lots will be on offer, ranging from furniture to bric-a-brac.
The first advertisement to appear in the paper was for a lost umbrella.
