Police call for help after fatal traffic accident near Forres

Police ScotlandA 61-year-old man has died following a crash involving five vehicles on the A96 near the Forres Enterprise Park.

Police Scotland are currently investigating the collision which happened around 5pm yesterday evening.

The man was transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by air ambulance where he died.

Three other men were also conveyed to Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin for treatment.

Sergeant Scott Deans from the Road Policing Department said: "Our thoughts at this difficult time remain with those involved.

"Our investigations continue. In order to help piece together exactly what happened I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the collision and who hasn't yet come forward to contact us."
