Police investigating school vandalism

The vandalism took place at Banff Primary School

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a vandalism at Banff Primary School during the early hours of Friday, June 29.

A wheelie bin and cones were placed onto the roof causing damage to the tiles between 12.05am and 12.30am.

Officers are looking to trace two people who were seen on the roof of the school around that time.

PC Julie Galloway said: "We would urge anyone who has any information or who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time to contact us on 101 using reference number CF0156640618.

"The school holidays are fast approaching and any reports of anti-social behaviour or vandalism will be treated seriously and investigated thoroughly.

"We would like to remind our community to report anything suspicious they see around the school or elsewhere to police with as much detail as possible."
