Police investigating Macduff vandalism

Officers have appealed for information after a window was broken at a residential property in Clergy Street.

POLICE are appealing for information following an incident of vandalism at Clergy Street, Macduff.

A window of a residential property was broken some time between 11am and 8pm on Thursday, February 16.

The value of the damage caused is estimated to be a low three-figure sum.

Officers are appealing for anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.

Investigating officer PC Fiona Cook of the Banff Community Policing Team said: "Due to the time frame of when the incident took place there is a high chance that someone might have seen something or heard something.

"I would therefore appeal to anyone with information relating to this crime to get in touch."
