PORTSOY will step back in time to the 1930s when the Salmon Bothy stages a fund-raiser with music from the decade.

Audience members are welcome to get into the spirit and dress the part for the show, which takes place on September 19.

Bill Breckon will compere the event, and music on the bill includes the Deveron River Brass quartet, Banff-based professional singer Dave Ryan, vocalist Andy Day and sopranos Jill Andrews and Lois Breckon.

They will be joined by Alex Green and Madeline Miller on the whistle and accordion, flautist Kay Copland and pianist Rose Shand.

Proceeds from the event will be split between the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Salmon Bothy.

* The popular bothy knitting classes on Mondays from 10am-12noon and Friday art sessions from 2-4pm have now resumed.
