PORTSOY Salmon Bothy was on the crest of a wave last week when it welcomed more than a dozen children to a sea-themed activities day.

Youngsters enjoyed fun and games over two hours on Wednesday afternoon, and even had the chance to dress up as pirates and sailors. This is the first full summer programme that the bothy has hosted, said manager Leanne Wilson, and they have been delighted by the turnout. Knot-tying, signalling, sea tales, puppetry and a treasure hunt were among the activities enjoyed by the children during the 'All Aboard' event. |
