Julia Forbes from Macduff has graduated with a BA (Hons) in Applied Social Sciences from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. She is a former pupil of Macduff Primary School and Banff Academy

Katie Duthie, a former Banff Academy pupil graduated HND in nautical studies from Glasgow College of Nautical Studies and qualified as a deck officer of the watch. Katie is now working worldwide with BP Shipping as a third deck officer.

Jenny Donald, from Longmanhill, a former Macduff Primary School and Banff Academy pupil, graduated B Sc (Hons) in biology from Aberdeen University. Jenny, who is currently working in France, plans to return to the university to do a postgraduate course in biology teaching next year.

Jennifer Davidson qualified with a certificate in Family Law at the University of Strathclyde, and is now registered with the Scottish Paralegal Association. Jennifer works at the Macduff branch of solicitors Walter Gerrard and Company as a paralegal with associate at the firm, Morag Daley. Jennifer has worked for Gerrard's since she left school in 1985.

Claire Duncan, a former Bracoden Primary and Banff Academy pupil, graduated from Robert Gordon University with a 1st class BA honours degree in Business Studies. Claire is now working with Wood Group Engineering in Aberdeen as a commercial graduate.

Alison Fraser of Forglen, Turriff, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. She has a permanent post as an Agricultural Officer with the Scottish Executive.

Jo Edwards, of Macduff, has completed six years of Open University study to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Humanities with History. Jo is no stranger to history in her working life - she is an administrator at Duff House in Banff.

Andrea Ewan, Keith, who works for CIC in Portsoy with people who have special needs, graduated with an SVQ level three in social care from Aberdeen College.

Mariann Foster-Watt graduated BA in Criminology from the University of Lancaster. She is the youngest daughter of Percy and Ann Watt, of McKay Road, Macduff. Mariann was educated at Macduff Primary School and Banff Academy. She now lives in Heysham, Lancashire.
