Attempted burglary – It was discovered on Sunday that, during the previous night, the building at the Duff House Skating Rink had been burglariously entered by some person or persons. Entrance had been obtained through a window in the front of the rink which leads into the skate room.

Bus services – Town bus services may yet be provided in the twin burghs of Banff and Macduff, even though one application has already been turned down by the Traffic Licensing Authority.
