Sports club hands out awards

ST MARNAN'S Sports Club held its annual prize-giving where trophies were presented in football and basketball.

Every member of the Aberchirder group received an attendance medal and there were trophies to the most improved and coaches' players of the year.

Results: Football - P1 most improved: Rhyleigh Wilson, coaches' player of the year: Calum Calder; P2

3 most improved: Gregor Michie, coaches' player of the year: Kai Inglis; P4/5 most improved: Taylor Chalmers, coaches' player of the year: Liam McDonald; P6/7 most improved: Corbyn Wilson, coaches' player of the year: Liam McIntosh; P4/7 Girls most improved: Stacey McLean, coaches' player of the year: Samantha Morrison; Basketball - most improved: Joe Middleton, coaches' player of the year: Matthew Skyner.

The club are on the lookout for new coaches, particularly in gymnastics, and anyone interested should contact Tracy Duncan on 01466 780036.
