PORTSOY youngster Scott Simpson has taken the first steps towards hitting his target of a career in the world of professional darts. The 14-year-old Banff Academy third-year pupil is one of a growing number of teenagers playing regular competitive darts, turning out for every other week for Buckie club JiC's, who have already secured the Division 2 championship title and promotion to the top division in the town's licensed trade darts league.
