Golf Week a huge hit

Duff House Royal's Golf Week culminated in a prize-giving night which saw a fantastic turnout.

DUFF House Royal Golf Club welcomed more than 100 golfers to their annual Golf Week.

It saw competitors from all over the UK take part in a variety of competitions.

Professional tuition was also provided by club pro Gary Holland, Meldrum House pro Neil Marr and Turriff pro Gordon Dunn.

The event was sponsored by William Lawson's and culminated in a prize-giving ceremony last Friday night.

Results: Monday, Mixed Greensomes: 1 Stuart Leitch and Dianne Humphries, 2 Peter Jeffrey and Vivienne Lister, 3 James Herron and Sharon Herron.

Tuesday, Yellow Peril: Gents: 1 Scott Faulds, Dennis Hudson and Eric Bache, 2 David Roberts, George Stewart and Rod Couzans, 3 Ian Hay, Neil Henderson and Hugh Graham. Ladies: 1 Hilary Bache, Pauline Lobban and Irene Gray, 2 Ann Callaghan, Jan Corbett and Kathleen Leitch, 3 Caroline Mattock, Philomena Kelly and Catherine Stuart.

Wednesday, Pro-Am: Gents: 1 John Spence, Richard Jeffrey and Owen Lister, 2 John Anderson, Paul Brian and Ken Barker, 3 Andrew Thomson, Michael Lobban and Eric Bache. Ladies: 1 Vivienne Lister, Alyza McKay and Jane Iverson, 2 Rena Thomson, Bathia Wiseman and Hilary Bache, 3 Ishbel McKellar, Caroline Mattock and Margaret Moir.

Thursday, Stableford: Gents: 1 Owen Lister, 2 David Roberts, 3 Ken Barker. Ladies: 1 Ann Callaghan, 2 Linda McNaught, 3 Moira Brown.

Friday, Texas Scramble: 1 Derek Batchelor, Keith Brown, Anne Tebbutt and Sheena Mitchell, 2 Peter Jeffrey, David Ritchie, Linda Mcnaught and Jill Wallace, 3 Andrew Shaw, Duncan Taylor, Janette Gould and Sue Evans.
