Deveronvale agree deal to allow Keith switch

DEVERONVALE have agreed deals which have seen Scott Begg and Bradley Manson make an immediate switch to Keith.

Former Dundee and Aberdeen youngster Manson (18), had initially agreed a pre-contract deal to make a Kynoch Park summer move.

Begg was one of five Princess Royal Park players transfer-listed after they refused to sign new performance-related contracts at Vale.

Vale met Keith last weekend in Banff and secured a morale-boosting 3-2 win over the Maroons.

Dane Ballard, who has signed a contract extension to remain at Princess Royal Park, scored the late winner.

Goalkeeper Grant Pennt is another Vale player who has signed a pre-contract to move to Keith at the end of the season.

A Deveronvale spokesman said: "We would thank Scott and Bradley for their efforts whilst with the club and wish them well at Kynoch Park."
