NEVERLAND Keepsake Creations, an established Internet trading business which makes bespoke and personalised charms, jewellery, soft furnishings and toys with a uniquely personal touch, has relocated to Gardenstown.
Gamrie’s newest business is the brainchild of entrepreneur and craftswoman Clare Birkby, who recently moved with her family to the Banffshire coast from her native Yorkshire.
The 32-year-old mother-of-two manufactures and sells bespoke jewellery featuring the imprint of a loved one such as a finger, hand or footprint, a baby scan or even a kiss or special message on items like cufflinks, necklaces and pendants to make them deeply personal.
A talented and creative seamstress, Clare also produces a range of patchwork animals, ragdolls, quilts and cushions made from pieces of material with sentimental value, such as baby clothes, wedding dresses or christening gowns, and has plans to launch a new range of bespoke ceramic keepsakes in the near future.
“I started the business as a hobby and it is now a fully-fledged, if small, business,” said Clare, whose career background lies in jewellery-making and business administration.
