THE owner of a Cullen paper shop robbed at knifepoint has expressed the hope that the perpetrator can turn his life around in prison.
Alex Legge was assaulted by Ryan Campbell (29) and robbed of £70 in cash on March 9.
Campbell was sentenced to two years in prison at Elgin Sheriff Court recently and Mr Legge's wife Moira, who runs the shop with her husband, said: "We are both of the idea that we hope the man will be supported to mend his ways.
"We heard that he is involved in a programme through the courts and is responding well to that."
