GRAMPIAN Group account executive Louise Williams was named Field Sales Person of the Year at the Scottish Provincial Press staff awards last Friday in Inverness.
Louise, who is based in Banff at the Banffshire Journal offices, enjoyed a busy year, bringing lots of new clients into the Grampian Group titles.
Pat Scott, the long serving and widely respected chief reporter of the Huntly Express was one of three reporters shortlisted in the Reporter of the Year award which was won by Tom Ramage of the Strathspey and Badenoch Herald.
There were also nominations for other members of the Grampian team:
Campaign of the Year – Wendy Clarihew for her Pick Up the Poo campaign which saw her work with local school children to promote responsible dog ownership.
Team of the Year – Our front office team in Buckie, Heather Green, Eileen Innes and Karen Pearson foer their work in advertising, photo sales and a display of archive photos.
Unsung hero – Heather Green, for all her great work and in particular cop-ordinating a permanent display of archive photos which has proved popular; group editor Chris Saunderson.
